Yes! The Okatoma is a Class I creek with a few gentle rapids and shoots, and it's one of the most family-friendly floats in Mississippi. Mississippi law requires children 12 and under to wear a life vest at all times, and we recommend everyone wear theirs.

Sunscreen, bug spray, water shoes or old sneakers, towels, dry clothes for the ride home, and plenty of food and water. A dry bag for your phone and keys is a smart addition. Leave valuables in your vehicle.
We also have a store for anything you forgot!

No glass containers and no styrofoam coolers. Please pack out everything you bring. Help us keep the Okatoma beautiful!

Dogs are allowed on the creek, though we recommend leaving pets at home for their comfort and yours.
If you bring your dog, please pick up after them!
